Add agility to your nutrition program all via your irrigation
Most irrigation waters bring some suspended organic solids, bi-carbonates or are a soft water that will strip-out valuable nutrients from the sports turf root-zone.
HARD AND SOFT WATERS WILL BENEFIT FROM QUADROP.
Hard waters that contain bi-carbonate convert soil calcium to insoluble calcium carbonate to slow percolation and hold-up water borne suspended organic solids. Irrigation water high in bi-carbonate usually carries damaging sodium with it. No matter what management regimes are implemented, a bicarbonate level above 100ppm in irrigation water will impede optimum agronomic results on the sports turf where such water is applied. A loss of available calcium and the accumulation of sodium in root-zones creates a cascade of difficulties:
Slowing water percolation
Accelerated soil compaction
Reduced oxygen in the profile
Loss of microbial disease suppression (increasing reliance on fungicides)
Reduced fertilizer efficiency (therefore requiring more) All leading to a loss of root-mass and depth. Soft waters strip away available nutrients such as K, Mg, Ca and trace minerals rapidly from low CEC high sand root zones or thin soils. This can cause rapid loss of grass colour, stress and the need for more frequent fertilisation resulting in soft leaf growth, shallow rooting and thinning surfaces. Quadrop will increase grass colour, reduce grass stress and maintain surface grass density.
Application guide
Apply directly onto the pitch through your irrigation system. Use before, after or even at half time during a game. Just 5L of Quadrop can treat a 25,000 litre tank. Manually add or automatically dose directly to your holding tank.
Application rate: 200ml/m3 for most sites. Rate and formulation may vary depending on water characteristics.
Automatic dosing (optional): Terralift can supply and/or install Quadrop dosing equipment or use your existing injection system.
